Yes, that was actress Marisa Tomei strolling along Main Street in Tarrytown, New York, on Wednesday.
The actress was filming scenes for a new movie co-starring “Ray Donovan” lead Liev Schreiber. Tomei, in an overcoat, blue dress and sunglasses, looked the part of the suburban mom she plays in the film, “Human Capital.”
The film is an adaptation of Stephen Amidon’s 2005 novel. According to Deadline, the plot follows two families, one middle-class and one privileged, connected by their children, a relationship that leads to a tragic accident.
“Human Capital” was shooting in and near The Music Hall and in front of The Taco Project.
NBC’s “The Blacklist” and Sarah Jessica Parker’s HBO series “Divorce” also recently filmed in the town a few miles north of New York City.
‘Mr. Robot’ in Rockland
On Location Vacations reported that the USA Network series “Mr. Robot” was filming across the Hudson River, at Rockland Lake State Park in Valley Cottage, New York, on Monday. The show has been shooting episodes for its final season in the New York area, including in Yonkers on Rosedale Road and Grandview Boulevard, which was decked out in Christmas decorations back in February for filming.
