Mary J. Blige and fellow hip-hop legend Nas are embarking on a co-headlining U.S. tour this summer.
After playing separate gigs in June and early July, the two will join forces July 11 in Palm Beach, Florida and wrap up their joint road trip on Sept. 10 in Toronto.
Both artists have been major forces in hip hop for a quarter-century.
Blige came onto the scene with her 1992 debut “What’s the 411?” thanks to hits like “Real Love” and “You Remind Me.” She continually upped the ante with “Family Affair,” “No More Drama,” “Not Gon’ Cry” and “Be Without You.”
In 1994, Nas dropped his now-classic debut album “Illmatic,” and went on to be ranked among the top MCs and lyricists of all time with songs like “Street Dreams” and “The World is Yours.”
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, April 19, at LiveNation.com.
Citi is the official presale credit card for the tour, allowing Citi card members to purchase presale tickets from noon Wednesday, April 17, until 10 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, at www.citientertainment.com (all times local).
