The event takes place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and UFC Fight Pass.
In the main event, featherweight champion Max Holloway (20-4 MMA, 16-4 UFC) moves up 10 pounds to meet Dustin Poirier (24-5 MMA, 16-4 UFC) for the interim lightweight title. And in the co-feature, Kelvin Gastelum (16-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC) takes on Israel Adesanya (15-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) for the interim middleweight belt.

Round 1 – Jouban closes slowly as Grant paws a jab. Jouban charges into the clinch and gets the takedown. Grant immediately powers up and nearly gets his head taken off by a kick. Grant throwing heat in close, and Jouban misses with an elbow before they break. Jouban advancing slowly again. They trade kicks. Grant misses on his power right. Grant clocks Jouban with a pair of hooks after nailing a calf kick. Jouban avoids the next counter, but now Grant is advancing. Jouban pushes him back with a leg kick, and he comes forward again throwing heavy shots. Left hook glances off Jouban. Jouban’s high kick is blocked. He lunges with hooks, and he chases down Grant with more punches. Grant regains his footing and fires back a few kicks. Jouban comes forward again and walks into a right. A looping shot clips him as he presses a jab. MMA Junkie scores the frame 10-9 for Grant.
Round 2 – Grant goes low with a kick as Jouban presses again. Grant comes out swinging wide again, forcing Jouban to duck. Jouban presses forward again, and they trade leg kicks. Jouban attacks the legs, and Grant responds in kind. Jouban still trying to walk down Grant and not having much luck. Grant tags his leg and resets. Jouban’s high kick is telegraphed and misses. Jouban marches forward again, and they trade leg kicks. Grant glances with a pair of hooks, and Jouban presses forward to counter. They both miss wide hooks. A high kick slaps off Grant’s guard. Jouban catches a knee and presses to the fence before peeling off with an elbow. They trade leg kicks, and Jouban comes forward to engage. When Grant fires back, he backs off. MMA Junkie scores the frame 10-9 for Jouban, and it’s even at 19-19.
Round 3 – Jouban resumes his pursuit, and Grant pops him with low kicks. Jouban again presses and draws a nice uppercut. Grant overextends and Jouban pops him back with a combo. Then he’s back on the pursuit, and Grant lands an uppercut. Grant’s high kick is blocked. Same for Jouban. Grant pops the legs again. Jouban again takes an uppercut. Grant misses wide on a hook, and audience has completely lost its patience with this tactical stalemate. Grant takes a low kick in an exchange, and we pause. Jouban comes forward on the restart, and Grant pops a jab as Jouban advances, going low with a kick to follow-up. Jouban with a straight left. He’s landing small shots here and there, but nothing that’s having any effect on Grant, who’s power is making him tentative to let his hands go. Jouban almost running after Grant, attacking the legs, and finally Grant comes back with a shot. Jouban ducks under and gets the takedown. Grant tries to scramble free, but he winds up on bottom taking a few shots from Jouban. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Jouban, who gets the 29-28 score.

Round 1 – Saint Preux closes in and draws kicks from Krylov. Krylov tags Saint Preux with a few punches and kicks, and Saint Preux ducks under for the easy takedown. Krylov tries to pop up and gets scooped out. He tries again and rights himself. Saint Preux isn’t giving up on the takedown, and Krylov wraps the neck. Saint Preux takes the single leg, and Krylov pops back up. Krylov continuing to threaten the choke, but it’s not deterring Saint Preux, yet. Krylov uses it, however, to reverse position against the fence and land a knee. Saint Preux gets another trip, but Krylov pops back up. Saint Preux stuffs him against the cage. Krylov tries a takedown and winds up on bottom in guard when Saint Preux uses a whizzer to reverse. Saint Preux passes to half-guard and attacks and arm before getting mount. Elbows and punches follow, and Krylov manages to escape. He’s all over Saint Preux with knees and punches before backing up. Saint Preux looks very winded. Krylov pursues and slams him with a kick before stuffing against the fence. Knees in the clinch, and Saint Preux looks pretty helpless. But he manages to escape and miss a head kick to end the frame. MMA Junkie scores the frame 10-9 for Saint Preux.
Round 2 – Krylov presses in with kicks, drawing counter punches from Saint Preux. Big punch prompts clinch from Saint Preux, who wraps up against the fence. They wrestle for position, and Saint Preux drops for a takedown. Lateral elbows make it tough, and his trip misses. Krylov turns him and gets his own takedown, stepping directly into mount. Saint Preux turns and gives up the back, and he works to escape. Krylov fights to keep back control and elbows the side of the head. Choke attempt from Krylov, and Saint Preux struggles to breath as the squeeze gets tighter. There’s the tap, and that’s all for Saint Preux.

Round 1 – Frevola circles in and attacks early. Turner clips him with a knee, but can’t stop the takedown that follows. In side control, Frevola spins around to the back and tries to flatten out Turner. He stays in position despite a scramble and gets both hooks. Turner is trying to stand and protect his neck. Action stalls as both fighters evaluate their next move. Frevola pounds, and Turner manages to shuck him and get back to his feet. Turner comes forward and clips Frevola with a right hand. Frevola continues to stay mobile as Turner closes, and Turner counters leg kicks with hard punches that prompt another takedown attempt. A guillotine setup is no good, and Frevola is back in side control. Frevola seizes the neck and goes for the guillotine. He rolls Turner over and squeezes. The position isn’t there, and Turner uses the cage to kick off to get to front headlock position and escape. Turner again comes forward and returns fire off kicks. Frevola shoots again and is stuffed. Turner misses on a shot and Frevola follows him back with a combo to end round one. MMA Junkie scores the frame 10-9 for Turner.
Round 2 – Turner closes in slowly and tries to catch Frevola coming in. He overcommits, and Frevola shoots for the takedown. Good sprawl from Turner, who circles out and resets. Frevola shoots again and briefly puts Turner on his butt. If not for Turner’s momentum, Frevola might have finished it. Instead, it’s another standup exchange. Both fighters eye each other warily. Frevola looking for a way in and manages to clip Turner. Nice jabs from Frevola. Another takedown from Frevola is stuffed. Turner pursues and sticks a couple of punches. Frevola not as technical, but he’s scrappy and gets inside to land punches. Another lunging knee meets Frevola’s shot, and Turner slaps on a guillotine. Frevola rolls to his knees, and Turner sprawls out. Frevola converts from a single to double leg and reverses to get top position in half-guard. Turner powers up and Frevola again tries the guillotine. Turner gets free, and Frevola bicycles his legs. In the midst of that, Turner takes a shot to the eye, and Goddard stops it. After a doctor check, the fight is restarted…and the round promptly ends. MMA Junkie scores the frame 10-9 for Frevola, and it’s even at 19-19.
Round 3 – Frevola stays active with kicks and punches as Turner closes. Frevola keeps him honest coming in, and he resets. A nice combo cracks Frevola coming in. Whenever Turner corners his opponent, he does well. The lead knee is Turner’s favored weapon. But Frevola charges and gets a double leg. A triangle attempt fails, and Frevola moves to side mount. Frevola tries isolate an arm, and Turner moves to block his advance. Frevola knees the body, and Turner spins out and to his feet. He catches Frevola coming up with a knee, and Frevola is on his bike. A takedown is no good, and Turner is on the hunt with less than one minute to go. Spinning back kick good for Turner. Flying knee a little short, and Frevola repays with a right hand. Then another one, but Turner is still in his face, chasing him across the octagon. A final combo from Turner, and Frevola ducks under to slam his opponent against the fence as time runs out. MMA Junkie scores the frame 10-9 for Frevola, who gets the 29-28 call.

Round 1 – Ries closes slowly and immediately draws a stiff punch off his opening attack. Pantoja waiting patiently as Reis approaches, then exploding with strikes. Front kicks halting Reis’ advance, but he fires off a shot and charges in for the clinch against the cage. Body lock takedown and trip fails, but he recommits and gets job done. Pantoja scoots back to the cage and wall walks to his feet. Pantoja drops Reis out of nowhere with a straight right, and he pounces with follow-up punches. Reis tries to recover by rolling to his side, but there’s too much punishment coming his way, and Herzog steps in to stop it.

Round 1 – Griffin comes across the cage and fires off a good one-two, then clinches up on the counters for an easy takedown. Imadaev grabs the fence to get up, and Allen stops the action after seeing it. Instant one-point deduction, and we restart. Griffin presses in again, and this time, Imadaev fires back and shucks off the takedown. Griffin uses leverage and a trip to get him down again and then goes under the neck as Imadaev turns against the cage. One hook in, and Griffin again tries the face crank as Imadaev sits against the fence. Imadaev grabs the fence again, and he turns into Griffin, who holds the position and punches with his free arm. Another choke attempt, and Imadaev struggles to his feet. Finally, he gets free, and he goes on the offensive. Griffin narrowly avoids spinning elbows and kicks and presses again for the takedown. They wrestle for position against the fence and trade knees. Imadaev tries a single leg and gets turned. Griffin escapes, and Imadaev chases him with a spinning kick and knee to end the frame. MMA Junkie scores it 10-8 for Griffin.
Round 2 – Griffin again leads with a straight right, and Imadaev’s spin kick is intercepted. Griffin at his back punching, then uses the body lock to walk Imadaev to the fence. Imadaev turns him, and they trade knees. Griffin breaks off and then tries for the takedown, and Imadaev rolls through it. Griffin ducks under again and this time misses it. Back in open range, they take shots at each other with straight punches and hooks. Griffin good with right hand, and he charges on a missed follow up to again put Imadaev on the mat. Imadaev pops up this time and turns him for the takedown attempt. Spin elbow nearly misses Griffin, who turns and pushes for the takedown. They break off, and another jumping spin puts Griffin on top. Imadaev pops up and presses Griffin to the cage. Imadaev pulls back and he nails Griffin with a right hand. He pours it on and spins, opening a clinch. Griffin is tiring rapidly. Imadaev has him against the fence and is landing against the fence. He pulls back, and Griffin goes for the desperation takedown. Imadaev lands a big knee and punch in the clinch, and then tags with punches and a spin to end the frame. Round 3 – They trade jabs, and Griffin is again good with a right. Imadaev pressing forward, looking for striking opportunities. Griffin still good with his right hand, but he’s getting caught with low kicks. Uppercut for Imadaev good, and Griffin is on the retreat. A left hook sets up a clinch, and Imadaev goes to town against the fence. Griffin escapes, and Imadaev again goes headhunting. Imadaev lands a pair of rights before a clinch and backs off. Griffin fighting for his life as Imadaev is coming on strong. Big left for Imadaev. Midway point. Another right from Griffin, who goes for the takedown and can’t stay on top as Imadaev slinks across the cage and rights himself. Imadaev now pushing for the takedown against the fence. Griffin pummels and turns Imadaev, landing a pair of huge knees to the torso before going for his own takedown. Griffin now seems to have a second life as Imadaev slows down. They’re wrestling for position in the clinch with time ticking down. Griffin finally pulls away, and they trade punches. Griffin spins, and they go toe to toe for a few seconds before time runs out. Round 1 – The two paw lead hands for a few seconds, and Taha stuns Salmon with a punch, sending him to the canvas. Follow up punches prompt Grice to intervene, and it’s all over. Replay shows it was a left hook that dropped him to the mat, and Salmon rolls to his knees only to take more shots that make him go limp.

A cut opens on Muhammad’s brow, but he’s still moving forward, pressuring Millender. More varied striking attacks from Millender thus far, but Muhammad’s left hand is regularly finding its target. Muhammad takes a side kick to the knee and drives Millender to the fence. Outside trip fails, and Muhammad works the knees. Another level change from Muhammad, who can’t complete the single leg and is forced to give it up. An eyepoke to Muhammad pauses the action. Millender works his jab and low kick. Muhammad presses again and takes a pair of straight punches. Millender’s jump into a trip misses, and Muhammad misses his own leaping kick as time expires. Lots of jabs and low kicks from both, but not much beyond that. Neither fighter going for broke. Soukhamthath lands a straight right, and Jackson comes in to land a big left before going for the single leg. He elevates Soukhamthath and puts him on the canvas. Soukhamthath slinks back to his feet, and they wrestle for position against the fence. Jackson uses the body lock to put Soukhamthath down again, and he drags his foe to the edge of the cage. Round 3 – Jackson lands a straight left early as Soukhamthath presses forward. More punches land for Jackson, but he goes south of the border when Soukhamthath fires a high kick in return. Time out. Soukhamthath flurries with punches on the restart and grabs the takedown. Jackson hits a slick reversal and winds up in quarter mount, pounding away. Bad news for Soukhamthath, who’s trying to escape as Jackson pounds away. Set up for an arm triangle, but Jackson settles for half-guard as Soukhamthath tries to scramble out of danger. Jackson attacks Soukhamthath’s left arm for a kimura and punches the body with his right. Soukhamthath gets his arm free and recovers guard, and Jackson continues to ground and pound while trapping Soukhamthath’s other arm. He lets it go and keeps posture as Soukhamthath tries a triangle. Jackson again traps an arm and uses his free one to punch. Soukhamthath throws up an armbar and triangle attempt, and Jackson pulls free. Elbows and knees to the body from top, and time runs out. Body kick hurts Mueller, and Botelho goes on the offensive. Botelho initiates clinch and knees in the clinch against the fence. Botelho uses the body lock for a takedown, and action stalls in half-guard. Mueller tries to escape and retakes guard. Botelho passes to half guard and pounds before wrapping the head. Elbows and punches keep Mueller from getting up. Mueller still powers up and pushes her foe to the fence. Botelho turns her and fires a punch before pressing for another takedown. Round 2 – Botelho opens up with leg kicks as Mueller presses again with punches. Mueller pauses and comes in hot again, and Botelho ducks under for the clinch. Botelho comes back in quickly and gets an easy takedown. Mueller looking to isolate an arm off her back, and then she stands up and turns Botelho. More knees from both, and Botelho turns. Trip misses for the Brazilian, but she’s content to knee the legs. Mueller trying to get space. Allen separates them. Round 3 – More low kicks from Botelho early, but Mueller’s aggression appears to have worn on her. Mueller pressing with straight punches and kicks, and after a few connections, Botelho ducks under and presses the fight to the cage in the clinch. They jockey for position against the fence, trading knees. Action stalls, and Allen separates them a second time. Mueller back in, and they trade jabs. Botelho ducks under again and pushes for the takedown. Mueller intercepts and turns her against the fence. Again, they jockey for position in the fence, and more knees are traded. Again, Allen separates, and Mueller comes forward. Botelho trying to survive the pressure, and Mueller nails her with a right and and a knee. Crowd loves the aggression and momentum shift. Mueller with a big knee, and Botelho hits the mat after a clash of kicks. Mueller takes top position in guard and fires a few shots before standing overhead and returning to half-guard. Round 1 – Costa clips Davis early with a head kick and closes in as Davis invites him. Davis cracks him with several counters and chases him back to the cage, where he seeks a takedown. That fails, and he’s forced to back off. Costa nails Davis with another big punch and head kick, and again, Davis waves him in. Davis’ chin is getting him through some tough situations here. Also, he’s able to push Costa to the fence and tie up again to slow down his opponent. Costa escapes and goes to work again. A lazy leg kick allows Davis to land a nice counter. Davis comes forward and trades big shots with Costa. Davis starting to chip away at the UFC newcomer’s legs. It looks like Costa’s lead leg may be damaged, but he’s still a threat with his punches. Davis gets tagged with another series of punches and a head kick and still waves on his opponent. Costa staggers after an exchange, and it’s clear something is wrong with his body. Davis presses him to the cage and connects with a knee and punch. Round ends with Costa just missing wide on a high kick and punch. MMA Junkie scores the frame 10-9 for Costa.
Round 2 – Costa comes in hot again and lands a right hand that staggers Davis, who grabs the clinch as soon as they hit the fence. Costa backs off after smothering Davis and trades high kicks.
