Days after Nipsey Hussle was killed in Los Angeles, fellow rapper Waka Flocka Flame was in an Atlanta recording studio when three men started shooting, injuring at least one person present, CNN and WSB-TV are reporting.
According to police reports obtained by CNN and WSB-TV, the rapper (real name Jauquin Malphurs) was with around a dozen people at Atlanta’s ZAC Recording studios on April 4, when three males opened fire on the building.
Waka Flocka was not harmed in the shooting, but one additional man was injured in the arm, and was transported to Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital.
No reports have been shared of any persons of interest or apprehended suspects, or whether Waka Flocka was the intended target of the shooting.
