After a surprise goodbye, some fans of “The Bachelor” are already hoping the recently departed woman will become the new leading lady.
Monday’s “Bachelor” finally reveals what happens after Colton Underwood’s (in)famous, much-anticipated fence jump − and now we have a sneak peek from “Good Morning America.”
“Is that him walking right there? … Let’s catch up to him,” a crew member can be heard saying, while host Chris Harrison meets up with this season’s star on the side of a road.
“I’m done with this,” Underwood says, prompting Harrison to ask where he’s heading. He answers that he has “no clue” and has his “wallet and that’s about it.”
After the frazzled Bachelor proclaims, “I’m (expletive) done,” Harrison tries to talk him off the proverbial ledge by saying, “Ok, well, we can be done. We’re not gonna walk back to the hotel.”
Underwood jumped the fence after getting his heart broken by contestant Cassie, whom he’d dubbed “the one.” She sent herself home in the March 5 episode after revealing she wasn’t in love with him and couldn’t get engaged knowing that.
In an interview with E! News last week, Harrison revealed he almost called the police on Underwood: “After a few minutes, I quickly realized we lost the Bachelor. Like, we don’t know where he is at all … So I’m sprinting down the street, and I’m yelling his name like a lunatic.”
Harrison, who was on location in Portugal with Underwood at the time, told E! he called the production offices back in the U.S. to get guidance but decided, “At some point, we have to call the authorities. We decided we were going to give it about five more minutes and we were going to call the cops.”

We lost the Bachelor: Harrison nearly called police when Underwood jumped fence
“It’s just a situation we’ve never faced before, and (Underwood) truly, at that time, was done. One hundred percent done,” Harrison also said. “And what unfolds is unbelievably raw, emotional.”
Looks like we’ll have to wait for the full story to air before we get any more clarity.
Part 1 of the season’s finale airs Monday, with Part 2 following on Tuesday.
